She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, health and wellbeing campaigns, service delivery and training, supporting healthcare professionals, students and the wider workforce.
Her expertise covers multiple public health areas including smoking cessation, alcohol, sexual health, weight management, physical activity, vaccinations, mental health and volunteer programmes.
Kiran Sehmi is a public health specialist with over 25 years of experience driving strategic change across the NHS and local government addressing health inequalities and community wellbeing through systems transformation.
With a career built on championing prevention-first approaches and the wider determinants of health, she brings deep expertise in multi-sector partnership, programme development, and translating public health evidence into meaningful policy and practice.
