Selph Consultancy is committed to providing high quality consultancy, research, training and project management that supports the health and wellbeing of communities and populations.
We are different to other companies in that we have experience working from the bottom up. We have worked with various professionals in a variety of settings and have practical knowledge and understanding of delivering services and campaign work that has made a difference to the lives of real people.
Selph have working relationships with individuals across various disciplines including health champions, health trainers, smoking cessation advisors, public health consultants and national organisations. We have worked as a consortium with other companies on larger scale projects and employ staff who can communicate and engage with people at all levels. Our staff have been there and done that!
Our passion is in making a change; on supporting individuals and communities to take control of their own health.
Michelle has been part of the Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) story from the beginning, supporting community pharmacy teams nationwide to meet the Quality Criteria.
Selph supports Local Pharmaceutical Committees, Local Authorities and pharmacy contractors with HLP, providing training, resources and ongoing support.
The UK Vision Strategy highlights the importance of making eye health a public health priority through targeted campaigns that improve understanding of how health conditions and lifestyle impact vision.
Michelle and Shamina developed and launched Healthy Living Optical Practices (HLOP). We have produced a national report and are working with organisations to implement HLOP across the UK.

Selph supports organisations to become Healthy Living workplaces by embedding a culture of health and wellbeing.
We provide training for staff to become Health Champions, equipping them with the skills and confidence to have meaningful health conversations with colleagues.
We also develop tailored signposting resources, connecting teams to relevant local health and wellbeing services, and provide practical tools to support ongoing engagement.
Each organisation receives a Healthy Living certificate in recognition of their commitment to improving workplace wellbeing.
